Cookie policy

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them as set out below. For personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the Site to work. They do not require optional consent under PECR.

• Sign-in and session cookies so you stay logged in and can use your account.
• Security cookies used by our hosting and authentication provider (Supabase).
• Stripe cookies and storage needed to take payment securely on checkout.
• Short-lived cookies that remember a competition, discount code or advertising campaign you arrived from, so we can apply the right offer and understand which campaign led to an entry.

Analytics and marketing cookies

These are off unless you allow them in the cookie banner or Cookie settings. We do not load Google Analytics until you opt in and we have configured a measurement ID.

• Analytics: Google Analytics (when enabled) to see which pages are used.
• Marketing: advertising cookies (for example Meta or Google Ads). We do not set these yet. If we add them later they will only run if you allow marketing cookies.

How long they last

Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Campaign and session identifiers are stored for a limited period so a visit can be matched to an entry. Account cookies last until you sign out or they expire. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser so we do not ask again on every visit.

How to control cookies

Use Cookie settings in the site footer (or the banner on your first visit) to allow or reject analytics and marketing cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Site (including checkout and sign-in) may not work.
